The owners of this 1982 VSBA-designed house in Wainscott wanted to enlarge it in 1997. The solution was to expand it at one end while matching the scale, color, and detail of the original. An "undetectable" addition was the result. Painted blue and white wave patterns occur between the runnning dormer windows, with the new pattern slightly different from the old.
