For historic Christ Church Bronxville, REA produced a space plan and program analysis that clarified the client’s use of its space and made recommendations for improvements and future growth. Child care, church administration and community functions were the primary components of this plan, and the centrally located auditorium, a multi-purpose social space and children’s play room, became a key component in the analysis, both in its programming and architecturally, as a complement to the superb Bertram Goodhue-designed church above it.
